Women — body measurements
These are body measurements, not garment measurements. Take the size where your body falls — Jhouni cuts each piece with the right ease for the silhouette.

Between two sizes? For silk shirts and co-ord sets, size up if you'd like a relaxed fit; size down if you prefer it closer to the body. For sleepwear, always go with your usual size — it's cut generously already.
Kids — Mama + Mini
Linen for little people. Sizes are based on age but always check height — kids fall between sizes more than adults do.

Linen softens and relaxes a touch in the wash. If your child is at the top end of a size, size up — they'll grow into it and you'll get more wear.
How to measure
You'll need a soft tape measure, a mirror, and ideally someone to help. Wear your usual underwear and stand naturally — don't suck in.
Bust
Measure around the fullest part of your bust, with the tape parallel to the floor. Keep it firm but not tight.
Waist
Find your natural waist — the narrowest part of your torso, usually a few centimetres above your belly button. Measure around it without pulling the tape tight.
Hip
Measure around the fullest part of your hips, usually about 20 cm below your waist. Stand with your feet together.
For kids
Height is the most reliable measure. Stand the child against a wall, head straight, and mark the top of their head — then measure from the floor to the mark. Take chest and waist measurements over a t-shirt for accuracy.
Still unsure?
Email info@jhouni.com with your measurements before you order — we'll recommend the size and adjust the cut if needed. Because every piece is made to order, we'd much rather get it right the first time.
